Kaz Kobayashi is a Japanese actor, martial artist, and sword fight choreographer specializing in traditional samurai sword performance (Tate). Originally from Japan and now based in Los Angeles, he has appeared in film, television, and stage productions, including Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno and Time Scoop Hunter. A certified martial artist with a black belt in Iaido, Kaz combines authentic swordsmanship, Zen philosophy, and theatrical performance to bring the spirit of the samurai to audiences worldwide. Through live demonstrations, workshops, and cultural performances, he is dedicated to preserving and sharing the traditions of Japanese sword arts with fans of all ages.
