E.M. Zolotor is an American author, illustrator, and engineer best known as the creator of the Hyperborea fantasy adventure series. Growing up in the Midwest surrounded by books, he developed a passion for storytelling and art at an early age. While building a career engineering Formula E race cars, laser systems, hybrid-electric boats, and wind turbines, he continued writing and illustrating his original worlds. Inspired by fantasy literature, anime, manga, and Western comics, Zolotor spent years developing Hyperborea, blending epic world-building with striking artwork. He is dedicated to creating immersive stories that inspire readers and fantasy fans alike
