  • Welcome to our Speed Dating event! Join Super Sonic Speed Dating for an incredible opportunity to connect with new people through three exciting categories: Speed Dating, Speed Friending, and Speed LGBTQ, all happening on June 14 and 15, 2025. Tokyo X is thrilled to invite you to this vibrant experience, where you can meet like-minded individuals in a lively and engaging setting.

    To make sure that everyone has a great time, we ask that you please follow our guidelines and policies. Your cooperation will help create a fun and respectful atmosphere for all participants. Don’t miss out on the chance to spark new connections!

    1. **Respect Personal Boundaries**: Please be mindful of personal space and comfort levels. Everyone has different preferences regarding physical proximity and interaction. Do not touch your date.

    2. **Engage in Meaningful Conversation**: Take this opportunity to get to know fellow participants. Ask open-ended questions and actively listen to their responses to create a more engaging dialogue. 

    3. **Be Respectful of Time**: Each round will be timed, so please be conscious of the time allocated for each conversation. When the time is up, kindly wrap up your discussion to ensure everyone has a chance to participate.

    4. **Maintain a Positive Attitude**: Approach each interaction with an open mind and a positive demeanor. This will contribute to a welcoming environment for all.

    5. **Practice Discretion**: Respect the privacy of other participants. What is shared during the event should remain confidential.

  • Signup will be held only during the event in person. Please look at our SCHEDULE page for updates of time and location.

     

    Entry is open to all types of gender and race, but you must be 18+ of age to enter into the event. Proper government approved identification will be required to enter into the Speed Dating event.

    Space is limited and fills up quickly, so be sure to secure your spot on a first-come, first-served basis!

    • Be prepared

      • Have conversation starters ready. 

      • Be on time: Show up when you're scheduled and follow the host's instructions. 

    • Be a good listener

      • Pay close attention to what your date is saying and respond thoughtfully. 

      • Use small gestures like nodding and maintaining good posture. 

      • Ask questions that require more than a "yes" or "no" answer. 

    • Have fun

      • Everyone's in the room for the same reason, so relax. 

    • Be respectful

      • Be polite, use appropriate language, and respect other participants' boundaries. 

      • Turn off your phone or put it on airplane mode. 

      • Be yourself and let your personality shine through.
